Nourishment
Food is not simply nutrition. It is the first language of care. When someone offers you a meal, they are saying: you matter. You are seen. You deserve this.
For years, Ashan Veymont has personally distributed freshly prepared biryani meals and clean bottled water to homeless and underprivileged individuals across his community. This is not a programme with a logo and a press release. It is a recurring, personal act of service — conducted with quiet consistency and without condition.
The Foundation's nourishment work begins here: with the personal. With the direct. With the understanding that a single meal, given with genuine warmth, can restore something in a person that poverty has taken away.
Current Activity

Success answers “did I do this well.” Service answers “did this do anything for someone other than me.”
Education
Ashan Veymont believes education changed his life. Not in the way people usually say that — as a slogan. But genuinely. The access he had to books, to teachers, to an environment that expected something of him, shaped everything that followed.
There are students in every city with the same intelligence, the same potential, the same hunger to learn — who cannot fully participate in their own education because they lack the basic resources to do so. A pair of shoes. A school uniform. A set of textbooks. A notebook.
The Foundation's education initiative will address this gap: not by building schools, but by ensuring that the students already sitting in them have everything they need to show up — and to stay.
Current Activity
- —School textbooks and stationery
- —Uniforms and footwear
- —Educational materials and resources
- —Student support programs
Long-Term Vision
- —Scholarship fund for secondary students
- —Partnerships with schools and educators
- —Mentorship and guidance networks
- —Access to higher education pathways
Healthcare
In 2022, Ashan contracted a severe case of COVID-19. During his recovery, he became acutely aware of something he had always taken for granted: access to quality healthcare.
He made a promise to himself during that period. If he recovered, he would work to ensure that others — people who did not have access to the same quality of care — could receive the help they needed when it mattered most.
The Foundation's healthcare initiative begins with respiratory health. Asthma support, medication access, and emergency care assistance for those who cannot access or afford it otherwise. It is a focused beginning, with the intention to grow.
Current Activity
- —Asthma and respiratory care support
- —Medication access assistance
- —Emergency healthcare referrals
- —Awareness and early detection
Long-Term Vision
- —Expanded healthcare access programs
- —Partnerships with medical professionals
- —Community health outreach
- —International healthcare initiatives
Every initiative here exists because something was given to us first.
This is simply what we chose to do with it.
